Although building a log home is time consuming, the process is fairly straightforward. What helps most are the organizational skills of a drill sergeant. So, get out your pre-construction checklist (i.e., your marching orders) and fast track your dream home.

WEEK 1: [  ] Pre-qualify with a lender, estimate the budget, develop preliminary house plans.
