As the name suggests, this home was designed and built by Katahdin as part of ABC’s Extreme Home Makeover show in 2005. It is one of the larger sized cedar log home kits with 3,197 square feet of space. This home features 3 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, a basement, two car garage, large patio and gazebo as well as a spacious loft.
As a result of the design, this spacious log home with its built-in garage/basement combo can be placed on a moderately-sized piece of property. The patio features a staircase leading to the lawn for easy access up or down. Similar to most Katahdin cedar log homes the Extreme-Makeover features cathedral ceilings and a central fireplace and chimney. The large bedrooms and living rooms make this great for almost any size family.
