Our family pioneered the first and original Amish log homes, genuine handmade and handcrafted in Montana. As an Amish community we cherish and place a high value on time- honored traditions such as a hard work ethic, honesty, community living, solid families, and living in love with Jesus.
As we honor good old- fashioned techniques that are legendary among our people, we have chosen to also adopt modern, newer technology such as better machinery, tools, and office equipment so that we can continue to design and produce the world’s finest log homes and related products. We believe this embracing of “old” and “new” is part of the reason for our continuing success: We cherish both the things of “old” that are of high value, and we also embrace the “new” things that are good!
Hundreds of Years, Centuries Of Amish Craftsmanship: Our family’s lineage of Amish craftsmen heritage goes back centuries.
Genuine Montana Amish Handmade: We pre-assemble handmade, hand peeled complete log home packages at our plant in Libby, MT, in every size and design from cabin to log castle.
Unmatched Value and Price: Generations of quality is evident in everything we do. Even with the highest level craftsmanship, we deliver surprising affordability.
Best of New and Old: At Meadowlark, we believe in honoring yesterday’s skills and building traditions and joining that with today’s advances in technology.
Unlimited design possibilities: Our time- proven standard construction style is handcraft, naturally hand peeled, but Dovetail Notch, Machined Profiles, Pavilions, Post- and Beam, Timberframe, log garages, shops, barns, and custom log home floor plans are no problem for us to draw and custom build for you.
Meadowlark is doing our part to be a steward of the earth’s resources by utilizing trees in need of thinning or harvesting areas of trees that have already died. Instead of allowing the trees to be burned in fires, we harvest them and prevent the waste and pollution to enter the atmosphere. Log homes and related products are really one of the greatest examples of green construction.
For those unfamiliar with the term “green construction”, it refers to practices in the construction process that are earth friendly, use methods to reduce waste, produce a finished product of lower energy consumption, and reduce the long term carbon footprint not only during construction, but through the life of the home.
