Over the years, we have developed and refined our log system to provide the most watertight and airtight log home you can buy. Specially milled jambs at windows and doors combined with our continuous foam gasket and caulking at both vertical and horizontal planes mean added weather resistance. Using mortise and tenon joinery, Northeastern’s logs fit securely end to end. We also mill a groove below the drip edge on each log to keep water flowing away from the system. All of these elements make for a truly exceptional weather-tight log home.
