Lodge Logs™ combines the best of nature and technology. Each log is precisely milled in our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. Our through-bolt wall assembly and foam sealer secures each home with an exact fit and excellent structural stability. This strategic combination eliminates the need to use expensive chinking for the life of the home. Our innovative designers can assist you with creating a custom home or modify one of our standard floorplans. You also have the ability to complement our engineered wall system with natural, tapered, structural materials (roof members, vertical character logs, fireplace mantels). Each home is designed to meet your local structural requirements.
Lodge Logs™ is an environmentally friendly company. We work hand-in-hand with the U.S.F.S. and private property owners to thin stands of timber to help prevent devastating wildfires and stimulate growth in the rest of the trees. We then take these green logs back to our facilities where we can then control the manner in which they are dried. We offer green-cut western white woods, Douglas fir and western red cedar, all of which are kiln dried to a moisture content of 15 percent or less and graded to TPI standards. Our profiles include a Swedish-cope and a D-log, both with a single tongue-and-groove and with saddle-notched corners. The logs are kerf cut to relieve stress and facilitate drying. Every home is pre-cut for windows and doors, pre-notched and pre-drilled for our through-bolt™ system. This ensures the walls are assembled effortlessly, which makes onsite cutting minimal. Log walls are available in lengths up to 20 feet and diameters range from 6 to 12 inches. We provide onsite technical assistance and our technical supervisors are always available to answer questions throughout the entire construction process.
