In the 1920’s the remote logging town of Tremont flourished with both simple and elaborate mountain homes. Executives and workman lived side by side in an isolated area along the the Middle Fork and Little River. Although they were miles from “civilization,” they used their ingenuity to create masterful homes from the locally found mountain materials.
