#4 Echoing the Past
Log Home Living's 1st Annual Small Homes Design Contest
Echoing the Past | Alpine Log Homes
It’s hard to say no when there’s an outdoor shower involved. Though that’s not the only reason we picked Echoing the Past as a winner. We love the sheltered porches at every entrance and the way the central utility space (a mechanical room, pantry and staircase that fit together like a puzzle) gives way to the tiered kitchen, dining and living area in the back of the home. It’s a like a little secret only people in the know get to discover. Bedrooms bump out off the center of the floor plan to create truly private sleeping quarters, and the bonus loft above it all is icing on the cake.
