This three phased process, known as Total Home Solution®, delivers the best in design, log & timber manufacturing, build quality, and cost control. As you move through each of the three phases of PrecisionCraft’s Design Build process – your project team develops and refines the projected costs to build your log home giving you the information you need, at each phase in the process, to decide if you are ready to move forward with building the log home you have dreamed of. Our Total Home Solution gives you the benefit of having only one point of contact and accountability, from concept to completion, which gives you the greatest amount of control over your entire project. Phase I: Conceptual Design & Cost Feasibility The Conceptual Design & Cost Feasibility phase starts off with an “Initial Design Meeting.” During the initial meeting, you meet your entire project team (architect, construction manager and sales manager), formally establish budget parameters, and create the first design sketches of your home. At the end of this phase, you are presented with Conceptual Design Drawings and an Estimated Turnkey Cost. Our goal is to design you a home you’ll love for a cost you are willing and able to spend. With this information in hand, you have the option, but not an obligation, to move to next phase in realizing your dream home. Phase II: Pre-Construction Planning During the Pre-Construction Planning phase, PrecisionCraft’s Design Build team prepares your project for construction by:
At the conclusion of this phase, you know what it will cost to build your timber frame home and have a scheduled timeline for construction. At this point, you have the option, but not obligation, to move forward with Phase 3: Construction. Phase III: Construction With all the upfront planning completed in Phase II, you’ll have confidence that your timber frame home will be built to your specifications and within your target budget. During the Construction phase, your Construction Manager aggressively manages all build costs, using your project’s Control Estimate as a guide. In addition, your supervisor and manager ensure that your home is of the highest quality and meets the highest quality building standards. More About: PrecisionCraft Log Homes & Timber Frame.
