 Editors' Commentary:Aesthetically, this plan looks like the quintessential log cabin. A covered wraparound porch, dormer windows and a soaring chimney add to this plan’s traditional, inviting feel. Ample storage is incorporated into the design, including multiple closets in each bedroom, a spacious laundry room and a sizeable pantry. Also, an entire wall of under-counter cabinets and an island add extra storage space in the kitchen. Unlike most log homes, this plan doesn’t incorporate a loft looking down on the living areas below. Instead, an office/sitting area can be found on the second level, as well as two large bedrooms that share a full bath. Square Footage: 2,269 |
