Established in 1978, Old Timer Log Homes Inc. markets throughout the United States through national dealers. We own our own manufacturing facilities, milling facilities and dry-kiln facilities.

For more than 25 years, Old Timer Log Homes has manufactured premium eastern white pine, but we are not limited to this species; western red cedar, Douglas fir and cypress logs are available upon request. All logs are kiln-dried to 19 percent moisture content or less and graded according to Timber Products Inspection standards to be a #2 quality or better.

Old Timer Log Homes offers the widest range of log styles known to the industry. We manufacture more than 30 standard log profiles. Our logs can be milled 6-by-8, 8-by-8, 6-by-12 or 8-by-12 inches in traditional D-styles, stack chink, wide V, round or dovetailed. All logs are manufactured with a single tongue-and-groove. Our corner systems include butt-and-pass, insertion, saddle-notch and dovetailing. Each of Old Timer Log Homes’ log systems are wood-on-wood contact, no styrofoam fillers. Hand hewning is an available option for a handcrafted appearance.

With more than 100 standard plans and our own drafting department to help with custom designing, almost any style is available. All plans meet or exceed all national building codes, including FHA and VA.

Old Timer Log Homes offers random-length timber packages. Cutting and fitting onsite means you control the tightest possible fit. Our packages range from simple logs and hardware through a 75 percent completed home.=

All logs are assembled with 10-by-14 inch OlyLog screws, 3/4 inch expanding foam gasket on the tongue and pliable log home sealant between each course of logs. Log butt joints and corners are doweled and sealed to prevent the outside from creeping in.
