The beak-like prow of Mike and Susan Clemmons' home in New Mexico is the distinguishing elements, along with it's unique floor plan.

Homeowners Mike and Susan Clemmons wanted their great room to be the home's focus, both on the outside and the inside (no TV, with a fireplace and furniture situated to take advantage of breathtaking views courtesy of floor-to-ceiling windows). Casual decor, accented by a Native American motif, makes the space feel cozy.

Because Mike and Susan wanted their great room to focus on the outdoors, family and guests head downstairs to take in movies and television.

A scissor truss supports the ceiling and roof. It's actually one of the home's conversation pieces since it can't be seen in its entirety from any one angle.

High ceilings add visual drama to the bedroom, and drywall behind the bed provides plenty of complementary light to what could have been a dark space.

Slate floors and custom cabinetry in the master bathroom continue the home's rustic theme.

Richard--Sounds like a great plan. Your best bet would be to check out our Marketplace for Real Estate (http://www.loghome.com/marketplace/m_real_estate/) to find an agent who would be able to assist you in locating such a property. Happy hunting!
