Our master designers and artisans are experienced in building methods from traditional-style log-and-purlin systems to time saving pre-manufactured trusses. We detail many variations in our sample plans and use all the alternatives as our toolbox to achieve the style, look and price point you desire. Whether it’s a wilderness rustic or suburban contemporary, our combinations of style and finish can achieve your goal.
During the construction phase of your project, a Moosehead Cedar Log Homes representative will be onsite for delivery of your log home package and remain available to both you and your contractor for the duration of your project. Quality that stands the test of time.
We use only the finest materials available. Our primary species is northern white cedar—a species with inherent sustainable qualities known for withstanding environmental challenges. Our logs are air dried for approximately six months to properly balance the moisture content, minimizing any warping or shrinking.
We offer profiles ranging from 6-by-6 D to 10-inch-full-round profiles, milled or hand-hewn finishes, employing insulated joint assemblies and expert craftsmanship. This assures your home is not only beautifully designed, but among the most energy efficient log homes available.

Moosehead Cedar Log Homes is a locally owned and operated manufacturer with a ten-acre mill and preassembly facility located in beautiful Greenville, Maine. Because we are a manufacturer, we have total control of your project from design to delivery. We are with you every step of the way.
Originally established by a Maine logger in 1986 as a part time venture, Moosehead Cedar Log Homes was purchased by native Maine residents Randy and Lucy Comber in 1996. With an entrepreneurial background, the Combers have married their love of Northern Maine with the development of a product that stands the test of time.
