Courtyard at Front Entry
A Montana-ledge stone-lined courtyard in the front of this home has passage to both the great room and dining room.

Log Home Guest House
The guest house above the garage is a cozy retreat, complete with kitchen and living area for friends and family.

Guest Bedroom
A guest bedroom capitalizes on genteel Victorian flair with crisp white linens and a secretary desk.

Cozy Dining Room
The dining area, just a step up from the great room, is completely cozy with its high-back upholstered chairs. To keep the decor scheme consistent in the open floor plan, the interior designer filled the nook with the same bold blues and brick reds as the living space.

Open Great Room
The home's careful placement in an existing stand of trees allows the Brookes to convene with nature from the comfort of their home. No curtains are necessary. You can see out through the trees, but it's totally private.

Handcrafted Kitchen
For the kitchen countertops, Claudia and Lee initially wanted soapstone but opted instead for charcoal-gray ceramic tile cut to look like a slab. The countertops, along with stainless steel appliances, break up the wood in the room.
