1. Evaluation Pro WoodCare will give you a FREE no obligation evaluation of your log home needs and estimate of our RESTORATION AND PRESERVATION PROCESS. 2. Cleaning and Stripping Certified wood restoration technicians will clean and strip your log home of failing finish, mildew, fungus, dead fibers, construction dirt and manufacturing blemishes. This is done with various detergents, strippers, low-pressure cleaning equipment or corn cob blasting – using environmentally safe techniques to ensure the best for your logs and everything around them. 3. Repair Our expert carpenters will repair or replace rotten or deteriorated logs, railings, posts, trusses and more. Our network of log suppliers and custom sawmills will match existing log styles to create a perfectly matching repair. 4. Buffing Our technicians will buff your logs to remove any raised wood fibers, residual finish, or impurities. This ensures a smooth and uniform appearance. 5. Caulking and Chinking We will inspect all caulking or chinking to find any areas of deterioration or failure.We will then remove the bad sections and re-caulk or chink those areas. 6.
