looking for landscape plants for my home but have no idea as to what zone I am in. Is there a map on this page that I don't see? I would also like to click on a plant and see what it looks like and perhaps some info on characteristics......can you help?

Jim--The National Gardening Association web site has a great zone finder (http://garden.org/zipzone/). We can certainly look into making this list more interactive as well.

I have to agree with jim. I have been to many sites and looked at books and magazines that list the plants in this category and others but there are no pictures to go with the list. This is frustrating when trying to plan a garden. Adding information about each plant would be helpful as well.
