A bungalow-style log cabin exterior front view with water garden.
The water garden Cory Snow designed meanders through the front yard, creating a unique setting for the Craftsman-style log bungalow.

A bungalow-style log cabin kitchen with knotty pine cabinetry and faux granite countertops.
The kitchen served as both cooking and dining space, since the Snows chose not to create a separate dining area at first. (They’ve since created a dining room with a recent addition.) The kitchen cabinets are knotty pine crafted by a local cabinetmaker, while the countertops are faux granite. The kitchen doors leads to a deck that stretches across the back of the house.

Bungalow-style log cabin bedroom with Eddie Bauer sleigh bed and matching trunk.
Cory and Emily’s master bedroom features an Eddie Bauer bedroom suite, including a sleigh-style bed with pewter railing and matching trunk. The window behind the bed looks out to the garden waterfall.

Guests are welcomed into the home with an antique hat rack/bench. A large Douglas fir log post displays an antique sled, one of many collectible sports items the Snows have on display throughout the home.

Love the house - we are going to build in 2010 - we would love to see how you attached the two structures together - we are going to have a detached garage with in-laws quarters above and would like to have a way to get back and forth to that structure from the inside - thanks! ellen

Ellen, It shouldn't be too hard to design and build a covered walkway between the garage and home. I am sure if you contacted Big Log Homes and ask them they would be happy to help. :) - Thanks Mike

I Too Would Love To Own A Log Cabin Just Like Cory and Emily's Log Home.
That Would Be A Miracle Blessing and Answered Prayer I've Had Since My Childhood. I Am Now (57)
Years Old and Still Praying For This Miracle Blessing.

We greatly appreciate all your comments about our home. We give thanks to our LORD and SAVOIR for the home that he has blessed us with. It truly would not have happened without his hand in it. Feel free to contact us anytime if you have questions about the home.
Thank You

I LOVE THIS HOUSE!! It is by far the cutest log home I've ever seen (and I have been looking a lot!)
I have one question, what type of wood did you use for the top section of the house?

By Audra on Apr 23, 2009
I have looked for a log craftsman-style bungalow for the longest time. Yours is just what I had pictured. It is gorgeous! What company did you go with? Was this a kit, or did someone design it especially for you? I guess what I really want to know is: how do I get one?
thanks for sharing these pictures of your lovely home,
Audra

Hi Audra,

This home is from Big Log Homes and, yes, it was designed by the company as part of a log-home package.

Good luck!

The landscaping looks really alien to the natural beauty all around. Why do people move to wild places and try to make it look like the suburbs?

By Coyote on Sep 28, 2009
While you are entitled to your opinion dancing... I think the landscaping looks absolutely gorgeous. Great job Cory!
