Home Buyer Publications (HBP) announced today that their Log & Timber Home Shows will be partnering with two other promoters, Solid Wood Promotions and The Log Home Shows, to facilitate better scheduling and marketing of the nation’s premier log and timber consumer events.
HBP has contracted Eric Johnson of Solid Wood Promotions, to manage all HBP events, in tandem with the management and operations team at HBP. Johnson is a former show manager for HBP and has been producing his own log & timber and home shows for the past five years. HBP has also contracted Paul Patterson of The Log Home Shows to execute events, primarily in the western areas of the country.
HBP general manager Laurie Sloan commented, “We are very excited about the opportunity that this alliance creates for the log and timber home markets. This partnership among the log and timber home shows assures the industry that our collective show schedules will be well-planned, better executed and supported with a comprehensive marketing campaign, delivering the best possible audience of dedicated, qualified consumers. We believe the adage ‘a rising tide floats all boats’ and we are doing everything in our power to assure that the tide rises for everyone in this marketplace. With Eric’s show management experience, Paul’s western track record and HBP’s 3 million log and timber audience, we believe that together, we can raise the level of all shows produced in this market.”
Both Johnson and Patterson will continue to produce independent events, which will be promoted throughout HBP’s publications and websites. HBP currently has a schedule of nine shows for 2011 and is making plans with Johnson and Patterson to add events in regions that are currently not being served.
