Nothing beats the classic look of a full log wall. We use the industry leading overscribing technique: a chink-less, weather-tight system which works as the logs continue to season, maintaining the home’s natural beauty and handcrafted character for years to come. We include in every full log package all the required hardware such as foundation anchorage, 3/4" through-bolts, steel angle splines at all window and door openings, pinning of log beams, and 1" diameter screw jacks for all main floor structural posts. All logs are pre-cut where they meet conventional framing materials for a complete professional finish. Plus, all electrical wiring holes are pre-drilled and electrical boxes are cut and pre-tested for fit before delivery.
Clients often select their favorite from our collection of more than 80 log home designs, then customize it to make it their dream home. A complete set of custom blueprints from our award-winning design department is included with each The Log Connection log package—that’s right, no extra charge. We also offer a complete dry-in material package, selected from the best Canadian and United States manufacturers, to further streamline the building process and reduce the cost of the home.
