How can you ensure that you will design the log home of your dreams? You’ve come to the right place! When you choose Lindal Cedar Homes’ log home design process, you work with the world’s leading resource for crafting quality and legendary style into every square foot of your log home design.
Lindal Cedar Homes bring all of the beauty of the outdoors into your home. Our log homes marry a warm and rustic aesthetic with time-tested engineering, light-flooded interiors and all the contemporary comforts you want.
Known for the highest-quality materials standards in the home building industry, we carefully screen every piece of our kiln-dried western red cedar for warping and twisting. The Lindal kiln-drying process minimizes settling or checking, assuring your cedar log home remains tight and square. Our log home designs are available in:
- 8-inch D Log: 8-inch normal thickness, tongue-and-groove with interlocking corners and our signature saw-kerf design.
- 10-inch Swedish-Cope: 10-inch diameter, traditional saddle-notched corners and our signature saw-kerf design.
- Refined Solid Cedar Timber: our 4-by-8-inch timber is milled flat on both sides for a smooth, even appearance. Also available in stratus, our laminated timber.
Due to our high-quality material standards, we are able to provide each Lindal home a Lifetime Structural Warranty … the best in the industry.
And, more than 3,000 Lindal floor plans can be built using our solid cedar timber, while the D-log or Swedish-cope log are currently available in more than 20 of our most popular Lindal floor plans. So, whether you want to build a 1,000-square-foot cabin or a 6,000-square-foot-home, there is a log home design in our library to suit your needs.
