Established in 1989, Lake Country offers handcrafted scribe-fit, post-and-beam and precision milled structures. Many customers choose to combine milled log walls with handcrafted highlights for a distinctive, high-end look.

Experienced crews skillfully produce Lake Country’s handcrafted homes in a clean, modern facility. Our milled log wall kits are machined using state-of-the-art CNC processing technology. We also offer in-house design services, a full range of top quality Canadian building materials, railings and log stairs.

Lake Country Log Homes’ premium western red cedar milled logs are available in several sizes and profiles, with fully interlocking corner notches, finger-joints and keyways to accommodate a fine fit and finish. Dried wall logs are machined, then preassembled, labeled and packaged along with resilient foam insulating tape and assembly hardware. SPF (spruce/pine/fir) is also available.

Lake Country’s handcrafted division consistently delivers unsurpassed quality in a high-production environment. Seasoned Engelmann spruce, Douglas fir and western red cedar logs are hand-peeled, then fitted with diamond or saddle-notched corners, full-scribed lateral grooves and bevel-cut window openings. When resilient foam gaskets are used, they are fastened to the wall logs during manufacturing to help reduce on-site costs. Quality control staff examines each log kit before it is labeled and loaded for delivery.

Lake Country’s production team is experienced in the containerizing and exporting of log homes and building materials. Upon request, we can be relied on for grading of logs as well as for phytosanitary compliance in products and packaging.
