| French doors in each of the first-floor bedrooms lead to private patios where Debbie and her guests can catch a glimpse of the local wildlife. |

| Above the dining table, a wagon-wheel chandelier rescued from her vacation cottage illuminates the room and doubles as a conversation piece. |

| Lush ferns thrive in the wet soil that surrounds the home, carpeting the ground from the back steps to the sandy shore just 100 yards away. |

| Debbie, an avid nature-lover, wanted to be able to connect with the outdoors even when inside. To achieve this, she designed the great room with three sets of glass-paned French doors and rafter-high windows. |

| The double-sided wood-burning fireplace chases away the chill and casts a warm glow in the cozy sitting room. A sailboat perched on the mantle hints at one of Debbie's many hobbies. |
