Upstairs, the loft is used as a second guest bedroom, featuring an attached bath and a balcony. A wide expanse of windows brightens the great room with its river rock fireplace and cathedral ceiling. This 7,066-square-foot home captures the essence of an early-day traditional log dwelling, along with a feeling of rustic elegance. This magnificent home is a perfect marriage of superb High Country Log Homes craftsmanship and masterful design by Strout Architects. A four-sided fireplace serves as the hub for major living areas. On the main level, the kitchen, living and dining areas separate the beautiful master suite from the inviting guest quarters. A graciously curved stairway is ensconced within the turret and leads to the upper and lower levels of the home.
