Grand Teton Log and LumberToday’s log homes reflect a historic Western aesthetic while accomodating modern values for efficient, sustainable design. At Grand Teton Log & Lumber, our aim is to provide a wide range of log and timber products that accomodate modern and efficient design while staying true to an authentic and historical Western aesthetic. Whether you value the economics and efficiency of our milled log, the majestic appeal of our hand-scribed natural log or the stunning craftmanship of our hand-hewn dovetailed logs, we can achieve the look and feel desired by our client with any one or a combination of these log building styles. For those more comfortable with a conventional framed home, our craftsman are skilled in providing log and timber components that produce the desired level of rustic accents in a hybrid-style home. This begins in the design with creative placement of character logs that are structural or merely aesthetic. More than conventionally built homes, our log homes are well equipped for today’s energy and environmental demands. Our logs are responsibly harvested from dead standing timber and are a natural, renewable resource. Our logs are superior to a conventional 2x6 wall in terms of their ability to maintain a more constant heat level due to their thermal mass. Working with our LEED accredited designer, our clients become well versed in other ways they can enhance the efficiency and sustainability of their homes while preserving the cultural integrity of the Western log home. At Grand Teton Log & Lumber, we are not interested in simply selling you a log package. What we are interested in is helping you design and build “your home, your way.”. More >>
