Glu-Lam-Log Inc. was founded in 1984 when it introduced the concept of laminated logs. Since then, the company has expanded its product line to include laminated logs, traditional milled logs and log cabin siding, tongue-and-groove paneling, decking, planking and log cabin trim.
The company does not manufacture kits. Instead, it sells its products by the foot. Clients report that this logs only approach saves them a significant amount of money without any compromises in quality.
Laminated LogsOur laminated logs have been designed to virtually eliminate the problems typically associated with log construction. These are the strongest, driest, most finely milled logs on the market today. They are the best choice for the people who want the warmth and performance of solid wood without the natural checking, cracking and shrinking associated with traditional logs. Multiple species combinations are available and only the most attractive wood is chosen for visible surfaces.
Traditional Milled LogsGlu-Lam-Log Inc. also mills top quality traditional milled pine, fir and western red cedar logs in many sizes and profiles. These logs appeal to people who prefer a more rustic look and appreciate the natural tendency for traditional milled logs to check as part of the character of the log.
SidingLog cabin siding is available in a variety of sizes, shapes and species. It is used to match or complement existing log buildings or to provide a fast and economical method for giving a log look to framed structures. It is also an alternative for people who live in areas where local codes do not recognize the inherent energy efficiency of quality log construction.
Decking/Paneling/TrimGlu-Lam-Log Inc. now mills tongue-and-groove decking, planking, paneling and log cabin trim from the same quality stock that goes into our laminated logs.
