After obtaining his architectural degree from Montana State University in 1994, Kyle Tage signed on with Locati Architects in Bozeman, Montana, a firm that specializes in alpine architecture with an emphasis on natural materials, including log, stone, glass and timber. Now a partner at Locati, Kyle has designed numerous high-end residences and commercial projects, and has received multiple awards for his designs.

Mira Jean Steinbrecher, AIA, is the founder and principal of Jean Steinbrecher Architects, a firm that specializes in the design of log and timber residences. In 1992, Mira initiated Log Home Living’s design column, which she wrote for eight years. She holds a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Texas at Austin and continues to serve as a voice in the industry.

Carl Cuozzo earned a bachelor’s degree in construction engineering and an associate’s degree in drafting and design from the University of Nebraska in Omaha. He has worked for Design Basics, an Omaha-based floorplan design company, since 1988. In addition to designing a series of homes for a national log-home manufacturer, he also co-founded Plan Pros Inc., which provides drafting and design services, in 2000.
