Some useful ideas here. The 1600 -2000 sq ft range is where we are concentrating.
By Ivan Sells on May 07, 2009

This is one of the best examples I've seen of small/medium sized cabins. The wrap around porch, master on the main, double front door, Etc. Other things could be for the bedrooms to either be up or down stairs, for cabins on sloped lots. Good Job.

How can I get more/any information on your featured Log Home Living Nov. 2006 home? Sq footage 1800. Love the smaller, more practical homes...also love to "look" at the huge mansion types but not practical for people wanting to down size, like us boomers. Thanks, kkkkatie@pacific.net

I am unable to climb stairs, so I would love to see photos and their floor plans of single story log homes l with a wraparound porch!
By Linda on May 20, 2009
We too would like to see more 1 level floor plans with laundry room and large master bedroom and bath. AARP members that realize that steps will be a problem in the future.
