"The Greenville"

The Highlights:
Designed to be completely self sufficient and off the grid, this plan includes a photovoltaic system, on-demand hot water, a ground source heat pump, low-VOC stain and clerestory windows to assist in natural ventilation and increased day lighting.

Even without the Earth-friendly elements, this single-level design would still be appealing. The open plan features log rafters over the living room, a detached double garage, three spacious bedrooms, a kitchen with eat-at bar and a rear entry drop zone.

The shallow roof line was designed to provide a stable slope for a living roof, which reduces the heating and cooling costs for the home, increases the lifespan of the home, reduces storm water run-off and filters pollutants and carbon from the air.

Square Footage: 2,385

  3. Hi, CM here I am a retired disabled nurse that raised 2 children by herself and remarried nearly 6 years a go and unfortunately did not have money to eve for my retirement with helping my children and so on. However, I have a some resources that I can hope to sell and get enough money to attempt to get what my husband and I have always dreamed of, a log cabin. With neither of having any retirement and I am only getting my disability we are wanting to to off the grid and of course because of my disability have a single level home. I do have a small 3 acres that my mom and dad have left me and would like to build on it. Would it be possible for you to send me more information on this home. Would truly love to hear from you.l
