Log walls are full length, up to 28 feet, to eliminate joints or gaps in individual logs, minimizing air and water infiltration. For an even more weather-tight structure, an interlocking, compression-fit corner system eliminates gaps. Dense #1 yellow pine flooring provides a lifetime of durability and low maintenance. Overhead, solid, glue-laminated structural beams increase roof strength. What’s more, our larger cabins (available option) and all our log homes are crafted with Conestoga’s Duo-Thermal™ Log Wall System, which features two logs engineered with three inches of insulation in between them for superior warmth, not to mention easier wiring and plumbing.
