Cedar Knoll Log Homes is a family owned business founded in 1975 and incorporated in 1979. We have been producing pine and cedar log homes for more than twenty-five years.
We are proud of our products and believe we have developed one of the most complete and affordable log home packages on the market today.
At the Cedar Knoll Log Homes manufacturing facility in northern New York we mill our tongue-and-groove logs, Swedish cope designs in a number of sizes, Swedish cope siding, matching log siding, and a host of other specialty lumber products.
Our computer-aided-design operators on staff can quickly incorporate the customer’s ideas into an efficient and cost effective custom preliminary drawing and blue prints for virtually any home style.
Included in our complete Weather-Tight Materials Package are:
- Northern White Pine or Eastern White Cedar 6×6 style 6-by-8, or 8-by-8, 8-by-6 tongue-and-groove logs
- Profiles include: standard “D”, double “D”, flat both sides or flat/clapboard
- 8-inch or 10-inch white pine or eastern white cedar round logs (Swedish cope design)
- State-of-the-art Emseal log home tape/The Olympic Olylog log home fastener
- Masonite fiberglass exterior door system with Schlage locksets
- Jeld-Wen Tradition Plus insulated windows: CladWood, Low-E, Argon Gas-Filled
- 35-year heavy duty architectural shingles/includes ice and water shield
- Buyer can option for a metal roof
- Style 6-by-8 KD floor joists with 2×6 Euro Spruce vee joint tongue-and-groove decking
- Complete cedar decking and cedar rail system (newels, handrails, and balusters)
- All Interior 2-by-4 and 2-by-6 partitions, and 2-by-8 header material
- Interior loft, railings, and staircases (stringers and treads)
- All porch and deck material to include supports, newels, balusters, and handrails
