Why have a log home if you're going to paint the wood and make it look like any other house? I like log homes cause they remind me of the woods and the rustic way of life

This is, indeed, a beautiful home, although I agree about painting the logs. Having lived in a sea-side community, however, I can imagine that great effort must be made to protect the logs from the extreme dampness.
