Kuhns Bros. Log Homes Having “Banner Year” In International Arena
Lewisburg, PA : 2007 has been a breakthrough year for in the international marketplace. Kuhns Bros. began the year by establishing distributors in two new markets: Waterside Developments in the United Kingdom and Noorbouw in the Netherlands. Both distributors have already constructed model homes and both have deposits on enough log home/cabin sales to exceed their annual sales goals for 2007.
Moreover, Woodmaster Canada, . representative in the Canadian provinces of Ontario and Quebec, is on track for a record sales year. Highlighting 2007 for Woodmaster was their appearance in March at the “Salon national de l'habitation” show in Montreal. In fact, the centerpiece of this show’s main hall was an 1800 sq. ft modified “Swatara” model that attracted thousands of visitors and received great praise from show organizers and press.
International Sales Manager John Quinn, who has played a key role in . international success, had the pleasure of supporting Woodmaster representatives Roch and Jocelyn Desjardins at the show. The Desjardins also recently took delivery of a large log home package which will be used to build a health club resort in Quebec. This project has the potential to expand into 15-20 additional units.
In addition to expanding the company’s international distribution network, . has also supplied log home packages for exciting projects in Cyprus and India. In one Cypriot project, an initial log cabin is complete and two others are currently under construction as part of a large camp project. On the north coast of the island, . has already supplied two log home packages to a new development, a “Berkshire” model that is already complete and occupied and a “Pennsylvania” model currently being built. On a June trip to the island, Quinn reported that eight to nine additional home sales are forecasted for Cyprus in the next twelve months.
Finally, a large resort project in southern India, using Country Log Cabins, has recently completed construction of five additional custom cabins in a development that could total as many as 120 units.
