America’s Log Home Company launches Green Outlook Program and partners with environmental charity to raise awareness for the importance of reforestation
Battleboro, NC: AmerLink, Ltd., one of the nation’s top suppliers of custom yet affordable log home packages sold to over 5,000 consumers across the U.S. and abroad, in conjunction with the National Arbor Day Foundation, launches their earth-friendly Green Outlook Program. This program outlines several initiatives that AmerLink is taking to demonstrate the importance of conservation and re-forestation.
“The Green Outlook Program outlines our firm commitment to protecting the environment, as well as providing our customers with the peace of mind that they are getting a great product from a company that does well by doing good,” commented John Barth, President and CEO of AmerLink, Ltd. “Log homes are the original green building solution, made directly from the earth’s natural resource and our program represents our belief that sustainable building products that are ecologically friendly are the only viable answer to a cleaner environment,” Barth added.
While AmerLink features several different log styles and sizes, appealing to any log home design ideas, the company dedicates itself to only using logs that come from suppliers that practice re-forestation. AmerLink also makes annual donations to the National Arbor Day Foundation, as a part of their Green Outlook Program, to support the Foundation's re-forestation programs, particularly in areas ravaged by wildfire.
From an ecological point of view, solid wood is the only building product that is renewable, biodegradable, recyclable and energy-efficient.
