Log Home News: AmerLink Design’s with "Green" in Mind
America’s Log Home Company launches Green Outlook Program and partners with environmental charity to raise awareness for the importance of reforestation

Battleboro, NC: AmerLink, Ltd., one of the nation’s top suppliers of custom yet affordable log home packages sold to over 5,000 consumers across the U.S. and abroad, in conjunction with the National Arbor Day Foundation, launches their earth-friendly Green Outlook Program. This program outlines several initiatives that AmerLink is taking to demonstrate the importance of conservation and re-forestation.

“The Green Outlook Program outlines our firm commitment to protecting the environment, as well as providing our customers with the peace of mind that they are getting a great product from a company that does well by doing good,” commented John Barth, President and CEO of AmerLink, Ltd. “Log homes are the original green building solution, made directly from the earth’s natural resource and our program represents our belief that sustainable building products that are ecologically friendly are the only viable answer to a cleaner environment,” Barth added.

While AmerLink features several different log styles and sizes, appealing to any log home design ideas, the company dedicates itself to only using logs that come from suppliers that practice re-forestation. AmerLink also makes annual donations to the National Arbor Day Foundation, as a part of their Green Outlook Program, to support the Foundation’s re-forestation programs, particularly in areas ravaged by wildfire.

From an ecological point of view, solid wood is the only building product that is renewable, biodegradable, recyclable and energy-efficient. Logs and other solid wood, as basic building components, generate the least amount of air and water pollution, emission of greenhouse gases and solid waste, allowing AmerLink to not only offer green living and building solutions to consumers, but also an eco-friendly home that doesn’t skimp on style with all their design options and upgrades.

As an industry leader, AmerLink understands the importance of being an archetype for consumers and businesses alike, when it comes to initiatives to better environmental health. The Green Outlook Program is part of AmerLink’s promise to be good stewards of the environment throughout all facets of the log home industry, while still providing high value log homes on time, on budget and to the highest quality standards.

About AmerLink: AmerLink, “America’s Log Home Company,” has been producing quality log home packages since 1982 for customers in both the USA and abroad. As an industry leader, AmerLink has acquired a 94% customer satisfaction rating and to date, they have sold over 5,000 log homes. AmerLink, Ltd. is the parent company behind their national signature product line, In The Woods, a brand of log home packages for the residential and commercial markets.
